“EQUAL DIGNITY AND FULL DEVELOPMENT OF THE HUMAN PERSON”: PISA INSTITUTIONS CUG (Unified Committees for the rights of the employees) CONFERENCE ON ARTICLE 3 OF ITALIAN CONSTITUTION ON FRIDAY 10 febRUARY

The Unified Committees for the rights of the employees (CUG) of Sant’Anna School, Scuola Normale SuperioreUniversity of PisaComune di PisaProvincia di Pisa, and Azienda Ospedaliero Universitaria Pisana will hold their conference on “Equal Dignity and Full Development of the Human Person. A Reading of Article 3 of the Constitution” with a reading of article 3 of Italian Constitution. The meeting will take place on February 10 at 10.00 am in Scuola Normale Superiore, Sala Azzurra - Palazzo della Carovana.

The CUG conference is gathering experts from academia, government and private sector to discuss key legal issues in Italy and Europe related to principles such as equality, well-being in workplace, social inclusion and the role of diversity practices in promoting employee engagement to address the main issues faced by jurisdictions who implemented equal opportunities policy.

Participants include: Sabino Cassese, former Constitutional Court judge; Mario Dogliani (University of Torino); Anna Loretoni (Sant’Anna School); Laura Leonardi (University of Firenze); Aviana Bulgarelli (National Institute for Public Policy Analysis); Patrizia Tomio (National Conference of Italian Universities’ Equal Opportunities Bodies); Laura Savelli (University of Pisa) and Francesco Spano (National Office Against Racial Discrimination).

Professor Vincenzo Barone, Director of Scuola Normale Superiore, and Monica Barni, Vice-President of Tuscany Region, will give their opening remarks.
